An
extrinsic property is a
property which expresses how
infotron relates to, or is seen by, its environment, or
domain. Typical extrinsic properties include "x", "y", and "z" (which specify how the infotron is positioned in the visual environment), as well as "name" and "id", which give the
domain manager a way to reference a particular infotron.
Infotrons are typically not able to access or modify their extrinsic properties.
